Let me tell you a secret

There’s no single “right way” to eat. (There, feel better?)

That means that when you work with me, I’m not going to force you into a restrictive diet that’s bad for you. I won’t lecture you for hours because you didn’t fill out a food diary. I won’t make you count points, or measure portions, or learn the ins and outs of some new fad. (“OK, this week you’re going to eat nothing but broccoli!”) Because when you’re fighting diabetes, those things might work at first—but you can’t sustain them.

Now that may not be what you’ve heard in the past. It may even be different from what you think you’re looking for. But you can’t manage diabetes — or prevent it from setting in — by doing the same old things you’ve always done.

You need to think differently.

The good news is, that’s easy to do. To help you win, we’ll start by listening to your body to guide your eating… We’ll figure out what you need. And then we’ll help you build new patterns and habits to help you lower your blood sugar naturally.

Ever since my grandfather and I made Excel spreadsheets to track his blood sugar, I’ve been helping people outsmart diabetes. And I can help you, too. To get started, learn about my Start Out Smart package.

Knowledge is power!
